Covid-19: Social distancing is needed until 2022

WASHINGTON: A one-time lockdown won't halt COVID-19 and repeated periods of social distancing may be required into 2022 to prevent hospitals from being overwhelmed, Harvard scientists who modeled the pandemic's trajectory said Tuesday (Apr 14). Their study comes as the US enters the peak of its COVID-19 caseload and states eye an eventual easing of tough lockdown measures. https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/world/covid-19-coronavirus-social-distancing-needed-2022-harvard-12642882

How effective is a reusable mask and how do I take care of it?

4 checks in re-using surgical mask A:  Dr Leong said it is possible to reuse a surgical mask if it is well taken care of and that these four checks are done: - Check the integrity of the mask; ensure that there are no holes - Try it on, ensure that the ear loops still let you wear the mask securely on the face. - Ensure the sides of the mask are still apposed to the cheek, as they should not be flimsy or loose. - Do the breathing test: Breathe in and out through the mask. The air should be coming in from the centre of the mask, and not the sides. If all four checks are done, the surgical mask can be reused for up to four or five days. askST: How effective is a reusable mask and how do I take care of it?
