Josef Fritzl pleaded guilty for abusing his daughter

I'm extremely disheartened to read this. It shows how inhumane a person could be. To the victim, I expressed my sympathy for all the pain and suffering she had gone through the 24 years. Daughter's evidence forces Josef Fritzl to admit: 'I'm guilty of all charges' After 24 years of abuse, father changes plea and acknowledges cruelty * Kate Connolly in St Pölten * guardian.co.uk, Wednesday 18 March 2009 22.04 GMT As he shuffled into court today without the most potent symbol of this trial, which out of shame and embarrassment he had held up to cover his face during previous sessions, he made a decision that elicited gasps from the public gallery. "I recognise that I am guilty of all the charges presented," he said. "I regret what I've done." Asked by the stunned judge, Andrea Humer, what had made him change his mind so suddenly, and prompted him to admit to the charges of murder and slavery that he had previously rejected, Fritzl said: &qu

Omega-3 fatty acid is good for health

Someone asked my opinion on Evening Primrose Oil (EPO). As I'm not that sure since I don't consume one, I did a check at Mayoclinic. To my surprise, the result shown was that it's less beneficial compared to the advert which claimed for it. At least to me. So it's no from me for this herb. Then I read on Omega-3 fatty acid here and at Wikipedia . Looks like this is a lot better nutrient to consume and the main sources are non other than fish and nuts.

Badminton All England 2009 Final

I watched the MS Final between Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan while having nice yummy dinner cooked by my mum. What I could say except for - Wow!! Super Lin Dan is even more powerful after a 3 months absent from the the competition as he undergone a closed door training with his China teammates. As for Chong Wei, he plays better compared to the last Olympics final match. The final result? The better player of the day wins and that is none other than my idol - Lin Dan. To Chong Wei, ga yao ok! I'll always support you!

Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009)

After reading the exclusive interview with Isla Fisher, the main actress of Confessions of a Shopaholic, I'm led to go for this comedy! Struggling with her debilitating obsession with shopping and the sudden collapse of her income source, Rebecca Bloomwood unintentionally lands a job writing for a financial magazine after a drunken letter-mailing mix-up. Ironically writing about the very consumer caution of which she herself has not abided, Rebecca's innovative comparisons and unconventional metaphors for economics grants her critical acclaim, public success, and the admiration of her supportive boss Luke. But as she draws closer to her ultimate goal of writing for renowned fashion magazine Alette, she questions her true ambitions and must determine if overcoming her "shopaholic" condition will bring her real happiness.
