LDP upgrade - bypass TTDI and Bandar Utama

The project involves the construction of a two-lane flyover for northbound traffic from Puchong heading towards Kepong.

The project also includes an underpass from TTDI to Bandar Utama and Kepong.

This means motorists from Kelana Jaya to Kepong will be able to escape the traffic at the TTDI and Bandar Utama areas by using the flyover.

The project also includes the widening of the northbound sliproads.

Litrak is the concessionaire for the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP). On the RM300 million upgrading work along the LDP, Sazally said the first stage in Puchong Perdana, Puchong Intan and Kampung Baru Puchong would begin next month.

"The first phase will cost around RM110 million. The project will be carried out in four stages and it is expected to be completed in 2012.

"The work includes widening the road and providing additional lanes and ramps," he said during Litrak's Hari Raya open house at its operations complex yesterday.
