Kien Keat-Boon Heong given new ultimatum
KUALA LUMPUR: Doubles shuttlers Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong's position as the country's top men's pair is on shaky ground once again.
On Saturday, the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) council chaired by Tengku Tan Sri Mahaleel Tengku Ariff decided to serve the duo an ultimatum. They have to perform at the back-to-back Denmark and French Opens or else they will be split up.
The world No. 5 pair are participating in the Denmark Open from Oct 15-20 and the French Open from Oct 22-27.
