How to fix for iPhone, iPad and iPod bug from restarting repeatedly

If your device with iOS 11 unexpectedly restarts repeatedly on or after December 2, 2017 (12:15 am), turn off the notifications, install latest iOS version 11.2 and turn the notifications again.

Based on the feedback from users, this bug has affected devices running on iOS 11.1.2, the previous version prior to this this fix.
