Job description
Your duties include the development of IT security services in coping the market demand. As the main interface for all HP account managers and partners, you will support them and provide services & solution strategy and proposal to win in complex deals.
You will be involved in new services development. program development and planning activities, offering clients IT security services & solutions such as penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, security infrastructure solution, general security management consulting and professional services (including BS7799, identity mgmt, etc.). You will be a dynamic self starter with a strong background in providing security consultancy.
The position requires experience in designing security services, IT Security solution including identity management, security management, system security in depth knowledge of Microsoft, Linux and Unix system environments. Good understandings of future market trends as well as an overview of competition landscape are prerequisites for this career opportunity.
Working throughout the services life-cycle from conception through introduction to evolution, you'll be responsible for driving our successful position in the market by ensuring that our services meet and beat their targets and grow faster than those of our competitors. This involves new services development and launch, plus other offerings throughout the product and services life-cycle.
Excellent customer handling, consultancy and presentation skills as well good analytical thinking are essential.
Requirements:
- The suitable candidate will have a university degree in Engineering or IT as well as a minimum of 6 years experience in complex IT security services and solutions consultancy.
- Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree preferably in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience, CISSP is a plus.
Customer relations experience - Aggressive at pursuing opportunities
- Excellent communication skills
- In depth knowledge of IT security, BS7799, ITIL, Linux and windows solution
- Services Technology knowledge (Solutions/Service and emerging technology knowledge)
- General understanding of market positioning strategies
- Create and execute service level agreements to define customer and supplier expectations
- Experience interacting at the customer executive level
- Experience managing cross functional teams including virtual teams
